Bob Hemeon, a veteran of the US Navy, joined the firm as a partner in 1999 after nearly three decades as a criminal and civil litigator. Bob obtained his BA from the University of New Hampshire in 1962, and his JD from Suffolk University Law School in 1971.
A lifetime New Hampshire resident, Bob has served multiple terms on the Laconia School Board, is a former President of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, served as a Superior Court Mediator and has been a Governor and Secretary for the New Hampshire Bar Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region. Bob was a founding member of LEEF (the Laconia Endowment Educational Foundation) and was recently honored as Board Member Emeritus for his dedication to the program, which provides grants to teachers who develop innovative learning programs for Laconia public school students.
Bob is a leading practitioner in the State for the defense of DWI/BWI and other motor vehicle violations, and represents clients in criminal and personal injury cases. He also offers services as a private mediator in civil disputes.
