Since graduating from St. Lawrence University in 1954, serving in the United States Army from 1954-1956, and graduating from Columbia Law School in 1959, Peter has served clients in the Lakes Region for fifty years.
Peter has served in many public service positions, including Chair of Lakes Region General Hospital Trustees, Commissioner of the Belknap Mountain Recreation Area and Chair of the Lakes Region Charitable Foundation, and as Moderator for the Town of Gilford from 1972 to 2010. He is a member of the Belknap County and New Hampshire Bar Associations. Currently he serves as an enthusiastic member of the Circle Program Board.
Recently, Peter’s practice has focused on estate planning, probate, tax abatement and contract interpretation. Peter has tried numerous cases in all levels of New Hampshire courts. He also served as an arbitrator and currently serves as a mediator in the Superior Court. He also offers services as a private mediator in civil disputes.
