Allison Ambrose

Allison joined the Wescott office in May 2011 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) cum laude and a Daniel Webster Scholar. She earned her BS in Business Management from the University of New Hampshire in 2005. Allison is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of New Hampshire and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

Prior to practicing law, Allison worked as an international business liaison for State Street Global Advisors in Boston, MA and has had a variety of other professional experiences including website development and management, marketing, office management, and restaurant management and training. While in law school, Allison served as an intern to the Honorable Richard McNamara of the Merrimack County Superior Court. She also worked as a teaching assistant at UNH School of Law, teaching first year students Tort Law as well as working with upper level students in Administrative Advocacy and Legal Remedies. Allison is a member of both the Belknap County and New Hampshire Bar Associations. She is also a mentor for young women in New Hampshire’s Circle Program.

Allison offers general legal services, but focuses on bankruptcy and criminal defense. Her advocacy work includes DWI defense and other motor vehicle violations, general criminal defense, labor and employment, and contract disputes.
